About CVS

CVS stands for Concurrent Version System. It allows multiple developers to work on a section of code simultaneously and submit their changes without writing over each other's work. You can find out more about CVS at CVS Home.

Getting the OSpora source using CVS

It is likely that we will require and set up our own CVS server for development in the future, but until then, we are using other methods. Please see Kar-aK's post (How to get the code) until we do, and this guide is updated.

Submitting changes

The principle is that anyone can download and view our source using CVS, but only certain people can upload changes or updates. People without permission should send us code submissions as attachments to bug reports or should post on the Client & Server Development forum.
